Because Compass Seminars offers a nationwide service across 12 regional areas in New Zealand we can offer trainers the opportunity to present their workshop as part of a single nationally advertised event, a multi-city tour, or multiple times at regular intervals over a 2-4 year period. We also offer a regular programme of live broadcast webinars that mean international trainers can present with us without having to travel 'down under' (if that is their preference).

Things work a little differently depending upon if you are from New Zealand, overseas, or wanting to deliver as a webinar so please review the specific information below:

New Zealand Based PresentersInternational PresentersWebinar Speakers

We typically offer our New Zealand based trainers single training events (with the option of repeating them over time in different cities throughout the country). This work can also open up a range of other training and consultancy opportunities as a result of the profile that we can help you to create as we tour you throughout the country.

International speaking tours come with greater flexibilty around schduling. Typically they are hosted in our bigger cities and events are often advertised nationally with delegates travelling to these hub cities to attend. International speaker seminars can be a delivered on consecutive days, or there can be the option of providing days off between events to merge some NZ tourism opportunities into the tour schedule if desired.

Webinars are typically delivered once and will be promoted nationally. They are delivered live during New Zealand business hours so can require unusual working hours for international speakers who might be based in a different time zone. Webinars are fully hosted by Compass Seminars and full techical support and direction is provided.

Whats Does Compass Seminars Offer Trainers?

We provide a fully managed service for our presenters. We organise and fund all aspects of each tour or event, including marketing, travel and accomodation arrangements, event hosting, venue set up and pack down and we can also source and retail any books or professional resources that you have written or recommended at each event you deliver. We renumerate presenters at a competitive rate, with a profit sharing scale that cuts in if delegate numbers exceed expected levels.

What's It Like to Work With Compass Seminars?

The universal feedback that we have received from trainers that we have worked with over the years is that it is incredibly easy and is often the best experience they have had of working with a professional development training organisation. Our people are awesome and it is our goal to fully host you (and our customers who attend your training).

Here is what some previous and current trainers have said about working with Compass Seminars:

Karen Young: Creator of HeySigmund.com

"I have worked with Compass Seminars for the last few years, coming over to New Zealand to deliver a series of one day workshop tours around the country. It is always a delight to work with the wonderful Compass team, everything is anticipated and happens the way it needs to; the flights, transfers, accommodation, and perhaps most importantly, the workshops themselves. This work is how I spend an significant part of my life and the incredible relationships that I have formed with the wonderful humans at Compass mean that it is always a highlight to come over the Tasman and be hosted by their warm and professional team."

Michael Durrant: The Brief Therapy Institute of Sydney

"I have conducted training for a large number of organisations in Australia, North America and Europe. Working with Compass Seminars stands out as one of my MOST positive training experiences. All I need to worry about is the training..... I can be ABSOLUTELY confident that I do not need to worry about transport, accommodation, the room set-up, the AV equipment. A supremely professional organisation (and I know that their paying customers regard them in the same way) oh, and they are friendly and hospitable too."

Dr Emma Woodward: The Child Psychology Service

“Working with Compass is a distinct pleasure. Everything is taken care of. All logistical, organisational and hosting arrangements are handled for me and there is really nothing to do except show up on the day for the workshop and speak. I am always extremely well looked after by their friendly, experienced and professional team."

Dr. Gavin Reid: University of Edinburgh

“Thank you Compass for organising my seminar tour. The organisation was first rate and I know the audiences really appreciated how smoothly everything was run. It is a pleasure to be involved with Compass, they are a truly professional operation.”
